This glass dish was created by layering pieces of glass over a wire system suspended in my kiln. I bring the kiln up to 1600 degrees and the pieces of glass turned molten, mixing colors at they dripped through the wires then finally settling on the kiln shelf creating an unusual design. I shaped the piece and placed it back in the kiln to slump into a bowl shape. Finally, I cold-work the bowl so the edges are flat and smooth.
Bowl is signed and dated by me on the bottom.

Shock measures 7" in length and width, with a depth of .5"
