Complete your cabin or lodge bathroom or kitchen decor with this bear towel holder, a vintage souvenir from Roy's Pakwash Camp, located in Ontario, Canada, as late as 1960, according to a newspaper clipping I dug up.

Bear head, made of molded, painted plastic, is "mounted" on a shield-shaped wooden plaque. Hang via grommet-reinforced hole at the top.

Theoretically, displays up to 10 towels from steel hangers that fan out below the bear's menacing/grinning? mouth. "Theoretically," because a tea towel shown in second photo was definitely a snug fit.

No manufacturer's marking, but under towel rack is printed "Roy's Pakwash Camp."

This piece is in very good condition with just a few touches of paint missing on the bear's ears and nose. Definitely a conversation starter!
