I have here a lovely collector's piece. A twin lens viewfinder Kodak No.1 Folding Pocket Automatic from the early 1900s. The No.1 Model B was introduced in 1899 and the Model C was produced from 1905 and for the next few years . Just a marvel of craftsmanship from Kodak's days gone by.

The camera looks to be in lovely vintage condition. The leather covering is all there albeit a bit worn in places. The bellows open smoothly and appear light tight. There is a small nick in the top of the bellows on the left side as you look at the camera but it does not seem to penetrate all the way through - more a cosmetic issue than a structural one. Have an enlarged look at the 4th photo group to see.

It has a domed Door, twin sprung struts and double view finders encased in what i believe is wood .
There seems to be a screw missing on one of the side turn mechanisms. Sorry, I am not to savvy with the lingo for these cameras. Have an enlarged look at the last photo to see. It does not affect the structure but you should be aware.

The front plate is made of wood i believe, the shutter trips and the brass housing for the lens looks very nice - all the little brass pieces seem to be in place. I just love the brass plate logo of Kodak's. Just such attention to detail. I have no earthly idea if you could use this camera. I believe it took 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 size 105 roll film back in the day. There may be some sort of alternative now for the more adventurous photographers out there!

Or you may want to just display this old beauty. My first instinct is to take it apart and clean and restore it before selling but i will resist! Allowing whomever would like to have it make that call to leave the patina or go for the restoration.

This vintage lovely measures with bellows extended 8" tall, 4" wide and 6" deep. With the camera shut it measure 8"x4" by 2" deep.

This handsome camera will come to you to you via the USPS and will be well packaged for the trip. Thanks for stopping by to have a look.
