Interesting and of course put dated Obstetrical nursing book. Written by Carolyn Conant Van Blarcom RN and published by The MacMillan Co 1935;

Book is dark blue hardcover with title on spine. Cover in good condition for age, Only very minimal wear and fading and minor staining. Only very minimal corner wear.

Binding and spine quite good, only minimal stiffening. Book approx 5 3/4" by 8 3/4" and approx 1 " thick.

Pages good as well but do have expected light yellowing from age and some mild waviness and some pages. Edges of pages have light tan tiny speckling. Inner end page has former owners name and French Hospital San Francisco neatly written in small writing in ink in upper left corner. Total 651 pages filled with many black and white photos and illustrations . Second page has crease.

Contents include but not limited to: Anatomy and physiology, The development of the baby, the expectant mother, the birth of the baby, The young mother, The care of the baby and more 1935 Obstetrical ideas.

Great vintage book for current Obstetrical nurse.
