Peachy Pink opal earrings

My favorite earring type; the chandelier - this one in a very romantic and subtle shade of pink.

Inspiration: The Chandelier or Girandole style was developed in France in the early 1700 and is typical for this century, but it also had a brief period of popularity in the late 19th century. But even before that there have been variations known since the first earrings known to us. Historically these earrings consist of a main piece with three round, oval or drop shaped pendants suspended with the centre piece slightly lower than the other two. A simple and genius construction that has been made in many different variations.

The original: You can find them anywhere, British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum…

This reproduction: Pink opal drops on handwrapped sterling silver wire and findings. Nickel free.

Length 6 cm (2 1/4 inches)

Photographing this color was tricky, the real color is less peach than what I see on my screen, but screens are different so maybe your is more true to the real color.

I have quit separate shipping costs, this is included in the price for the piece, as is packaging. Jewelry will be delivered gift wrapped for you to enjoy as a present to yourself or someone dear to you. All the best//MEJ
