This anatomical human heart is made of solid white bronze that has been oxidized, then polished to a beautiful burnished silver finish that only gets better with use. The completely three dimensional carving is perfectly executed, even the delicate sculpted surface veins are raised above the surface like a real heart, not incised in as though they were an afterthought. Every curve and bulge is dead on, it looks like it could start beating at any moment. The 15.5 gram weight has nice solid feel but not so heavy as to become a burden. A shade under an inch long, about the size of your fingertip, it's just the right size to draw people in for a closer look. You will not find another that is more anatomically correct.
