Austrian art deco pixie lamp produced by JB Hirsch and designed by Gerda Iro Gerdago. Gerda was born in Vienna and was a famous theatrical costume designer and sculptor born in 1906.

One recently sold for $4500 at Christies but was in absolute perfect condition and had an alabaster base. The base is black marble and the electrical has been rewired and works great. The cold painted metal pixie figurine is so amazing! She is almost 7 inches tall with a great pose and at one time was holding a bakelite book.( which is missing but big whoop) It still has the original thick glass globe and will illuminate any art deco lover's home. She has what looks to be a painted plaster face and may have had some repairs around the neck. I have never seen one of these before so please examine the pictures closely for details and feel free to send me any questions. The item is sold as found.

The base is 10"x3 1/2"x3/3". The globe is about 3 inches wide and the lamp weighs about 5 or 6 pounds so I am estimating shipping to be a little higher. I will refund any unused shipping fees right after shipping if any.

Thanks for looking!
