i just found this new paper lace today and it is my favorite! this gorgeous paper trim from east germany came right from the factory where they made vintage mache masks and paper halloween decorations. it was made in the early 1920s and is a beautiful aged ivory color.
lovely for paper crafting and decorating! this lace was manufactured originally to line antique candy boxes and the inside of paper mache easter eggs. you can also see this style of paper lace on turn of the century valentines. paper lace measures 1 inch wide and 30 inches long.

wrapped around a vintage wooden thread spool to keep the paper from creasing and tied with a bit of silver string and a tiny millinery blossom. (spools and blossoms will vary slightly)

*please note paper lace is in good vintage condition and is original store stock that may show some signs of wear acquired during storage.*

will be posted to you in a small box to prevent crushing.

featured in this lovely treasury.....a bit of wood and earth with a touch of blue sky

cool and inviting 'imaginative autumn

your own 'pumpkin chariot' enjoy!
