If the item you are purchasing is less than 4 pounds we can usually get a cheaper shipping rate than what shows on your screen. You can message us prior to purchasing to see what the shipping will actually be or you can pay the Etsy calculated amount and we will refund the overage.

Our items are all ready to ship. Once ordered and paid for, we pull it and pack it for shipping either same day or next business day.

When possible, we use materials labeled 'green' from the manufacturer. Some items require peanuts and they are starch peanuts which are environmentally friendly and dissolve easily with water. We are continuing to source more green packing materials that are economical. We have a high standard and we need to ensure that the materials will keep your packages safe in transit.

We have you covered! You, as the buyer, do not have to buy shipping insurance. We are responsible for getting your item safely to you. Every single item we sell is covered and we will make the claim, if necessary. No worries. We carefully pack and haven't had a claim in over a year but sometimes packages do get damaged in transit and we will take care of that for you.

If you receive an item damaged in transit contact us as soon as you can and keep the item (and packaging). We may need photos for claim submittal and sometimes (rarely but it does happen), the USPS may ask you to take the package to them for inspection.

By using calculated shipping and only charging the actual shipping charge we believe it's a fair way for everyone and especially for our customers outside the US. The closer you are to us the less the shipping usually is.

Local pickup in the Peoria Illinois area is always an option. Convo us and we can work something out.

We have easy hassle-free returns for ALL of our products for any reason. We want you to have a wonderful experience here on Etsy and if you aren't happy with the item once you get it, for any reason, contact us and we will help you get a return started. We will provide you a pre-paid label and once we receive the item back you will receive a refund of purchase price of item (not including original shipping).

Overall this is the same as (or better than) Etsy's policy - instead of having you pay for the label up front we provide you the free return shipping label. You receive a refund for item safely returned (original shipping is not refunded). Essentially we have FREE returns.

As much as we want to sell you our items we do accept cancellations. Send us a message as soon as you can. We do try to ship same day but if it has not been shipped we will cancel right away & do a 100% refund. If the item has shipped, we ask you to refuse the delivery and when it is returned your refund will be processed for item price (not including original shipping).

If you have a question about anything in our shop please message us. We try to have complete info in our listings but perhaps we didn't address your questions and no one likes to have to wait for answers. We have Etsy messages on our mobile devices so that we can answer you quickly.

Sometimes multiple item orders calculate the shipping too high or it doesn't combine them at all. DON'T WORRY! We always try to ship it at the lowest cost possible (at the speed you choose or faster). Sometimes we can combine items and save money but other times it is cheaper to ship them separately. If there is an overage of more than $2 we refund that to you.

First of all, we are SO sorry if the item doesn't make you 100% satisfied but if you aren't happy just contact us to start a hassle-free return.

Some of our books are very old and/or were stored improperly which put in the item description when applicable.

We use a product recommended by libraries for removing odor (not masking the odor) and if a book needs cleaned it will sit with the odor remover for at least a week. Sometimes we just can't get 100% of odors out of books. We take returns on ALL items, everyone has different levels of sensitivity and if an odor from a book bothers you please contact us right away and we will take care of it for you.
