Titled "What I Cannot Say" this original oil painting shows a nude from the waist up, long, dark-haired woman with blue butterflies coming out of her heart. She is in a monochromatic landscape of various shades of dark grey to light grey. Dark clouds flow behind her and their are flames slowly enveloping and emanating from below her. In the ground beside here the grass have eyes.

Realistic, surrealistic and expressionistic, this piece is very moody and evocative. If you have any questions please convo.

It's 16" x 20" and currently framed in a professional silver gilded wooden frame. It looks absolutely beautiful!

AVAILABLE AS A PRINT. Just convo to order. $19.95 each.

Thanks for your interest!

Frequently asked questions about GwenDudaStudios

Q: How do you package and ship the artwork?
A: I wrap the painting in brown paper, bubble wrap the piece for protection, then put in either wrap-around cardboard or place it in a cardboard box (for smaller pieces) or a sturdy shipping cardboard box (for medium to large paintings). It's then wrapped in packing tape for added strength and to water-proof it. If it's a print or painting on paper it is placed in an clear acetate envelope then slipped into a rigid cardboard mailer for protection.
Q: I am buying the painting as a gift for someone. Can you include a card?
A: Yes, I wrap the paintings as described earlier and then include a "Gift For You" card and write what you'd like in the inside to that special person.
Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: Yes! Become a collector and get a collector's discount of 10% or more! Just contact me for more details.
Q: How can I best protect any painting or print?
A: Keep it out of direct sunlight and protect it from humidity and large temperature changes. Any painting or artwork done on paper, canvas or wood will expand and contract according to humidity and temperature that is why it is recommended that you do not hang such items in areas with high humidity such as bathrooms where it would be subjected to steamy conditions.
Yes, I do however it depends on how busy I am with other commissions (there could be a waiting time) and if I am available at that time. Just contact me to discuss what you'd like.
