What format will I receive my pattern in?

All patterns and accompanying documents are delivered in PDF format. A PDF file is an easily recognised file format for all types of devices and computers and can be easily printed. Some files are bundled into a ZIP file which can be opened with a double click on a computer or via a file handling app such as 'Document 5' on a mobile device. For iPhone and iPads, please try the 'Documents by Readdle' app which can be downloaded for free from the App Store. Any queries or problems please contact us for immediate assistance.

How do I print my pattern and how do I know how many pages it will need to print on?

Please view printing instructions here: www.the-tailoress.com/printing-instructions Printing is very easy and you have two options: Option 1: The Copyshop File with Adobe Reader (free to download) You can easily tile the full document with Adobe Reader on the paper size you prefer or take the file to a printers where they can print it on large paper. Option 2: Print the included pattern split onto A4 / US pages. All you need to do for this is to ensure you set your printer settings to "actual size" or "100%". Each page has the Row and Column number listed in the top corner and also has cut lines and markers to make sure you match each page up correctly. I just bought my pattern, how do I now download it?

After purchase, you will receive access to your download via you Etsy account. If you have any trouble downloading your pattern please contact us.

I bought a pattern but I could not download it, what should I do?

Contact us immediately and we will fix the problem straight away for you. If you have purchased a pattern with a Dropbox link and are now unable to access it, please contact us with your purchase date and registered email address and we will send you the pattern via email.

I don’t understand something in the pattern tutorial and I am stuck, what should I do?

You can message us and we will get back to you ASAP with advice or visit at www.the-tailoress.com/support where you can post a question and find a solution.

Can I sell garments/items made using The Tailoress® patterns?

All The Tailoress® patterns can be used to produce a maximum of 50 physical garments/items for sale. To produce more please simply re-purchase the pattern to extend the license again by another 50. This limit applies to each set of patterns, a total of 50 items can be made and sold from any variation of pattern sizes. For example: Bella Pyjama size set 7-12 for dogs, a maximum of 50 items in total, not 50 items each size. All patterns and their accompanying files are strictly copyright of The Tailoress® and may not in anyway (original or derivative form) be distributed or sold on physically, digitally or otherwise.

Are the A4 and US letter documents numbered?

In the top left of each page you should see Page 1 - Row 1 - Column 1. The next page will show Page 2 - Row 1 - Column 2 etc.. Rows are horizontal and Columns vertical. You should match a vertical straight line on the right hand side of the page to the left hand side of the next page without a straight vertical line, matching the triangles to make diamonds. Fold the paper back along the vertical line to make matching the triangles easier. Your printer will print the pages row by row, so it is recommended to piece together each row and then piecing together the columns. Always assemble the pages before cutting the pattern out.

Bean has never been a super big fan of clothing but now that she's older she's definitely feeling the cold more. I thought I'd take a chance and try making a light weight jumper with this pattern and she loves it, she's sleeping through the night again and when I take it off in the morning she's super toasty underneath. Couldn't be happier, I'll be making more of these for her :)
