An antique low grade (50% or lower) silver alloy ring with silver foil backed green band set cabochon stone. The ring is of a style extant during the late Roman/Early Islamic Byzantine Empires Medieval Period of from the 6th to the 13th century but still used among tribal groups through the 19th century. The band has applied grapes bunches with raised scoll designs. The band exhbits wear, but is considered to be in excellent condtion commensurate with its previous tribal usage. Origin Anatolia or Caucasus regions.

Ring has been acid tested for silver content and has a range from 20 to 50% silver alloy.

Approx. size 10.5 Can be resized up or down by a jeweler. Dome cabochon is 13mm x 18mm x 5mm .
