An exquisitely detailed etching by this singular Canadian Artist born in 1945, now living in Mexico.
This chimerical Work is undated but she was producing similar work in the 70's up until the early 80's. It is titled " Wildebeest", is pencil signed and numbered 33/120 and in perfect vintage condition. Sheet size is 15" x 15", image is 6 3/8" x 6 1/2".

You can really spend time looking at this, marveling at the playfulness and intricacies of the imaginative flora and fauna that inhabit her world.
Whether he is bringing flowers to his loved one or has just been given them, this wild beast seems to have a sweet disposition.

Felicity Rainnie was a fellow of the famed Mc Dowell Artist's colony in Peterborough, N.H, and a noted painter, printmaker and photographer.
