This mathematics game is Montessori inspired tool for learning, understanding and having FUN with numbers.

The goal of this wooden toy is to to create awareness about the numbers (1-10) and its relationship with digits and get the first notions of addition and withdrawal.

In addition the Montessori inspired game develops:
* fine finger musculature,
* coordination
* systematizing ability
* logical thinking

The system in this wooden game is simple - each ecological color represents 10 cubes as a one whole. Each bar is made with the same pattern - from on side it is colored in full , form another it is divided in cubes (divided with engravings), on third side there are a number that this bar represents, and the fourth side is left blank for training estimation by sight.

- Initially, when presenting children with the mathematics game, how how to create a harmonious „stairs". The monochrome, smooth edge is used from the cubes,. Start with a simple stairs with only one section. Later two. The stairs can be created both from high to low.

- The cubes can be grouped in different rhythms, such as 10-5-9-4-8-3-7-2-6-1 or 10-1-9-2-8-3-7-4-6-5. If you withdraw a cube from sorted group, will your child notice that the harmonic rhythm is changed?

- Offer your child to group identical cubes for training of estimation by sight

- Do not forget to introduce children with concepts such as long - short, long - longer - the longest, short - shorter - the shortest, etc.

- When starting to teach your child to count, we recommend to use only the first three cubes with 1, 2, 3 checkers. Showing the child one box mention ONE! Next, put the cube with two boxes, and we say - one, two - two! Then do the three. You have to count the checkers, not cubes. Later, we ask the child to give us curtain cube, and, before he gives it, ask him to count the checkers.. We also have to draw attention to the figure.

- Only if you feel that your child is interested, add the next cubes with a greater number of the box. Step by step, leaving up to a figure, and the number of 10th

By working with these materials, the child is given the same opportunity to come to a surprising discovery, and at the same time to obtain the exact skills needed in mathematics. When you explain perfectly your child this game, he will be able to play with it by himself alone, independent. Child is surprised when with a cube with four checkers can Add cubes with different amount of checkers (1-1-1-1), (2-2), (3 +1) ...

This Mathematics game is a fun way how to get familiar with maths in a simple way. Child will discover himself, that, for example, number four can be made by 3+1, 2+2, 1+1+1+1+1+, etc.(see the picture). The opportunity to play with a numbers while seeing it amount makes easy maths easy to understand and, what is important - fun.

And remember - if something gets lost, let us know and we will replace the peace. Because this game has a potential for several years, so it is important to maintain all peace's.

We hope you have fun with this developing toy.

Very well made! Neat all the things you can do and learn with it. My lil one is still a little young, being almost 3, and uses it more like a puzzle now getting all the sizes lined up appropriately. But is enjoying it nonetheless. Looks exactly like shown.

Excellent an educator I cannot wait to use it. I would suggest one change and have all cubes or bars of the same number be the same color, this would be more useful...maybe not as pretty a picture, but more practical for learning! Overall, it is a fabulous product that is very well made.
