Vintage Coro Rhinestone Brooch Green Pave Snake Ribbon on Gold Filigree Circle Wreath Pin

This vintage brooch is made by Coro and features a green rhinestone pave encrusted ribbon or snake that lays on top of a domed gold circle filigree wreath like base. The green ribbon is fashioned to look like it wraps across the top and comes out on the back. It almost looks like a serpent. There are tiny green rhinestones in between the circles on the filigree.

Tiny gold rings are connected to form the filigree wreath like circle. The pin back is a standard roll over clasp and is in full working order.

The pin back is slightly bent and the gold tone has worn off a portion of it. The green ribbon is a little loose, but intact. There is one missing green rhinestone (second from the bottom tip of the ribbon). It's really not noticeable because the tip lays a little under the gold dome. There are a few tiny scratches in the black edges of the top tip of the ribbon. It needs cleaning as well.

It measures 1 3/4" (4.44 cm) in diameter and 5/8" (1.6 cm) high.

This is a very unusual brooch and one that will make a statement in your collection. It would also be fun to upcycle into something new!
