Jackdaw combines the wrinkled leather of the Stiltzkin with the roominess of the Maximus. It can accommodate prescription glasses (as can the Maximus and Bubonis). It comes with an adjustable ½" leather strap with buckle. Each one is individually shaped by hand, and as the folds are different each mask is unique. They are quite lightweight, weighing no more than five ounces (125 gm) each, making them comfortable to wear for hours at a time. There is a series of ventilation holes on the bottom of the beak for easy breathing.

White masks have red acrylic lenses, all other color masks have grey acrylic lenses.

Regular Size: up to 24 inch head measurement (measure your head as you would for a hat)
XL Size: 24 inch and larger head measurement (measure your head as you would for a hat)

Personalized message, words, or name, engraved on the strap for a $50 charge: See photo of engravable area. More letters will mean a smaller font, so keep your message relatively short.

CARING FOR YOUR MASK
The leather masks are quite durable. When storing them, keep them in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. The worst enemy is water, as the masks will soften and distort when wet, so don't wear them in the rain, in the pool, or in the shower. Heat will dry them out and make the leather crack. No regular maintenance is required. If they become soiled, wipe with a soft cloth.

The Jackdaw mask is as shown and described. True to their word, each mask is unique and the wrinkles may vary. I think the unique wrinkles of each Jackdaw mask make them incredibly beautiful. The variations of wrinkles of each mask also make me feel like each Jackdaw wearer owns a mask unique to them. This mask is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. The quality of the materials and the craftsmanship are superb. I enjoyed wearing this mask, hat, and balaclava on Halloween 2022. I plan on wearing this mask during spooky season for years to come as well as finding excuses to wear dress as a plague doctor whenever I can. I also have my eyes on a few other plague doctor masks and I can’t wait to collect and wear them!
