This chromolithograph comes from a nurseryman's catalogue printed in the 1890s (with one source placing the date at 1886) by the Stecher Lith. Co. in Rochester, N.Y.. The rare catalogue -- some of which are currently sold for over $7000.-- came in the form of a stack of brightly coloured prints of fruits, plants, and trees that resemble flash cards. The nurseryman used to carry them around and would sometimes make notes on them.

The full print is shown in the last photo. The first photo shows details from the print.

There is some light creasing in the print A small tear on the right border has been repaired with archival mending tissue. Otherwise, this print is in very good condition. Blank on the reverse.
