Here we go, my longest cravat yet! One of my regular clients, upon receiving his 72" cravats, said "These are nice, but can I have a longer one?" Oooooookay!

This piece of gentleman's neckwear was recently constructed of new silk fabric. It is a light, soft silk in a plain weave called habotai. This is more historically correct than slubby silks like dupioni.

This formal necktie measures 83" long from tip to tip, and 4" wide. This length is intended to go around a man's neck three times, then make a knot or bow; or you may wrap it twice and use the longer ends for more complicated knots. For your reference the model's neck is 15.5" and the mannequin is 17." In both cases I wrapped it around 3 times before tying. This allows the cravat to cover the whole neck; only a slight rim of the collar is left showing.

Machine wash gentle, hang dry. A feature of lightweight silks like this is that they dry very quickly, so this is the ideal cravat for travel, as you can wash it out in the sink of your hotel before you go to bed, hang it up overnight, and it will be dry to put on again the next morning.

You will receive an exact copy of the cravat in the photos, a new one that has never been worn. Please choose carefully as there are no returns on neckwear.

Many other cravats, in different lengths and colors, can be found here in my shop
