A very nice mug with my wagging tail handle and a set of wabi sabi circles around the front of the body. Wonderful ash patterning and atmospheric marking from the firing in our manabigama make for a dynamic vessel. Perfect for any beverage, everybody will like the feel of this piece and it will serve anybody well.

The brushwork references the three marks of wabi sabi - incomplete, imperfect, and impermanent. These three traits are significant in my mind whenever I work.

Contact me if you have questions about this or any other piece. I love to chat about my work and I especially enjoy getting ideas about my work from other people and their perspectives. I am willing to ship anywhere so if you are outside the US please inquire for more information.
