The print is signed, numbered, embossed with my stamp, and comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.

The subject, Dr. Whirlwind of the Cayuse tribe (Umatilla, Oregon,) was photographed around 1900. This would have made Whirlwind close to 75 years old. Whirlwind was known for his medicine dances while holding live rattlesnakes. Unfortunately, he was fatally bitten while performing what proved to be his final dance.

I have completed four Native American portraits and I'm currently working on a fifth. This was my first available as a print.
