1973 vintage Raggedy Ann and Andy cookie jar made by Cheinco Housewares, and licensed in a limited edition by The Bobbs-Merill Company, Inc. The inside of the lid is stamped with Cheinco Housewares, and the bottom of the tin is stamped with J. Chein & Co, Burlington, NJ 08016. It measures 6 1/2" by 9 1/2" high (to peak of lid).

Two colorful pictures of Raggedy Ann & Andy on either side. One side pictures the two in front of a cookie pushcart and the other has Andy offering a cookie to Ann as she looks lovingly at him. This cookie tin was inherited by us from it's original owners in about 1990. It served our two children very well throughout the years with all of those mouth tempting cookies waiting inside.

The tin is in good condition with notable rust around bottom edge, and some minor rust on top edge, as viewed in photos. The plastic lid has cracks and one chip, as I have also tried to capture in the photos. Cracks could probably be glued with expoxy, or super-glue. I will leave that to the new owner.
