I bought the whole "The Tudors" series on DVD so I could watch it over and over. It's like the most decadent chocolate you could imagine-you can ingest only a bit at a time because it is so rich, so sumptuous, that any more than a bite is overload.
The jewelry is so magnificent (especially Catherine of Aragon's pearls) that the set is worth owning just to see the exquisite designs. Inspired by the gorgeous Anne Boleyn and her lovely jewels, I designed a dragonfly in tribute.

The wings have been hammered a bit for ancient texture, and he's wrapped around a Czech glass piece in subtle, old colors. Blues, golds, and an overlay of clear glass. Caught and held by one of my oldest French filigrees.

He measures 2" across the wings, and the stone is 1+1/2" round. Top to bottom, 1+3/4" tall.

There are jumprings attached for your chaining assembly of gorgeous beads, pearls, vintage chain. If you wish, these rings can be removed and he can be slid onto a length of beautiful old silk ribbon.

Henry VIII spent the equivalent of a million dollars a year on jewels. Why can't I find a guy like that??

A dragonfly for Anne Boleyn..Czech glass, vintage brass filigree and Renaissance style.
