Reduced from $45. Made of Canadian pennies attached to flexible chains, this unique and interesting coin bracelet is in honor of King George VI of England. When Edward abdicated the throne in late 1936 it was his younger brother George (Bertie) who stepped up to lead England during some of the most difficult years until his death in 1952. King George was credited with restoring the popularity of the monarchy. This bracelet honors him and is indicative of the love the subject and one time colonies had for their “King George.” Coins are real and date from 1938 to his death in 1952. It measures 7 inches by 1 ¼ inches and is very flexible. Some of the silver tone color is rubbing off on the backside (see pictures). It was after all, made of real Canadian 1 cent pieces. Some wear according to age.
Please examine pictures carefully. Sale is final.
