This is a 1950s M. Hohner Echo Harp Harmonica in the Keys of C & G Major, 56/96. It comes with the original box. This piece is in excellent condition, with nominal wear on the top and bottom plates. There is no rust or corrosion on this fine instrument. There are very slight inflections on the tune ports on both the top and bottom plates which is typical of this instrument with age and use. These inflections do not affect the sound quality at all. The maple wood comb is in excellent condition. This harmonica comes with 2 X 48 bell metal (brass) reeds; so with proper care it should last virtually forever. The box is in good condition, and is indicative of its age. This particular Echo Harp measures 6 3/4 inches long by 2 inches wide by 3/4 inch deep. Made in Germany.

This classic harmonica sounds as good as it looks; and would make a fine addition to to someone's vintage harmonica collection.
