For this Gypsy Red Peace Cuff, I have combined all kinds of things: Indian trim at the top and bottom edges; sari scraps throughout in reds, deep oranges and maroon; antique Indian embroidery and mirror work in oranges, blues, metallic gold and silver threads; Uzbek embroidery on black velvet; red violet velvet and a bit of antique Chinese embroidery. There are three buttons at the closure: two antique black glass and one covered in turquoise satin. Whew! Lots of stuff in this one!

For the closure I have sewn on two antique black buttons and a turquoise silk covered button. The elastic loops allow for a clean-cut closure. To make smaller, loops can be wrapped around several times if needed. This cuff measures 5" x 7 1/2". It is lined with very soft, olive green cotton and is quite sturdy.

These Buck Peace Cuffs are one of a kind for sure! I have such a wonderful time making them. They feel like little bejeweled hats to me. As is true of my hats, these cuffs are sturdy and made to be worn. Whether with casual jeans, gypsy skirts, funky outfits or dressed up, they look great and are very comfortable.

If you have any questions, just send me a note.

I hope you love these as much as I do!
