Unusual two toned vintage Bell rotary desk telephone. Says on the bottom: BELL SYSTEM PROPERTY, NOT FOR SALE. This means it was not available to the public.

The person I purchased this from said it was working the day before I purchased it. I don't have a land line, so I haven't tested it out, so it's being sold as is. It has the cord to the wall and appears to have all its parts. I heard that not all phone companies support rotary phone service. If you're not sure, check with your phone company.

Rich colors of deep red and deep yellow. The finish and the color are in great shape with no chips, stains, or cracks - just some surface wear and it could probably use a little more cleaning. The rotary dial mechanism works great.

Size is 9" by 5 1/2" and slopes up to 4 1/2" tall.

The inside of the handset says "Stromberg-Carlson SC G3 Made in USA."
On the phone itself on the top back it says "Bell System Made in USA Western Electric."

It's a very sturdy phone, so the shipping is a little more.

This phone would be wonderful for staging for photo shoots or using in a retro decor!

This phone was treasured!
