Vintage Corning Ware Blue White Centura 8 Cup Pyroceram Cookware Teapot, style #P-168. Corning Ware was first produced in 1957, it is made of a special material called Pyroceram, a crystalline ceramic that is made from glass. Several years ago Corning Ware was sold, although they have offices in the USA, the few pieces of the Blue Cornflower pattern they make is not made of pyroceram like the earlier pieces.

This is the Centura pattern with a blue band and matching lid, the lid is metal with a black knob. This teapot is the one of the harder colors to find, it was made from the 1960's to 1970's. It is 5" tall to the top of the knob on the lid and 9" long from spout to handle.

It is in excellent condition, no chips, inside of mouth has some extremely faint use marks from the lid being inserted. It would be a wonderful addition to your set! Please see our other listings for additional pieces of Corelle and Corning Ware. It would be a wonderful addition to your set or perfect for everyday use!It would be a lovely addition to your Corning Ware Set!. Please see our store profile for our current sale code and save!
