Nostalgia of the 50".

This cookie jar called the "Magic Bunny", was made by the American Bisque Company in West Virginia which operated from 1919 to 1982. They produced popular cookie jars, ashtrays, doorstops, sprinkle bottles, banks, planters, lamps...
This jar can be found in the American Bisque book by Mary Jane Giacomini.

It is in very good vintage condition. No cracks, chips or repairs. It has some crazing on top of hat on one side as shown in last picture and a few crazing below the bunny's neck. The inside is pretty clean (see last picture also) The back of the base is marked USA. The glaze is very glossy.

It is 12.5 tall (61/4 jar without bunny lid)
8"1/4 wide from outside edge of hat to the other

I won't combine shipping for this item. Too big and too precious.

Thank you for your visit...
