Mid Century Modern Aztec Ceramic Dish. This cool little dish has an Aztec motif with a dash of mid century modern style. It is covered in the most amazingly rich brown glaze that is very light around the designs on the edges and becomes deep and mottled in the curve of the bowl. Most likely, this dish was intended to be used as an ashtray although it really doesn't automatically look like one. You could use it to hold any number of little objects but it is really striking on it's own. There is also a ridge around the base on the bottom that would make it easy to display on the wall with a picture hook.

This piece measures 6" across and 1 1/4" tall. The bottom is marked "Charlotte 12-1-70"
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
