‘Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue’ . . .
the well known wedding lucky saying.
I wanted to make simple but pretty versions of this lovely tradition.
Every piece is different and individual so I am photographing each one
and listing by letters A, B etc.

This is (J) made with a pretty section from a Vintage Linen Lace cocktail
napkin to add the history. (”old”)
It was beautifully edged and hand embroidered in satin stitch.
It has a detailed white shadow work flower - so very pretty - such historic work.
It hangs from a silver tone bead and is held in place with white and powder blue
seed beads.

A small pretty blue button (the ‘blue’) is sewn at front with a tiny silver tone flower.

A lace fabric is looped to hang on an 18 inch flat cable sterling silver chain (the ‘new’)

If you want it to be “borrowed” - just make sure someone else buys it for the bride !!!!

size : 2 inch high (5cm)

As all queenofcuffs designs are made with mixtures of
fabric and beads, crystals or vintage lace - they cannot be washed.
They should be treated and worn with care so that the
delicate stitches do not snag.
When not being worn keep flat in a safe place away from
sunlight, damp, dogs, cats or children !!

Comes in a box (made from recycled material).
