This original mixed media collage titled "Recovering What Was Lost II" was created on a 30" x 40" canvas with 1 1/2 " sides. The art work carries around the edges of the canvas and is wired and ready for hanging!

The title comes from an early small collage I made called Recovering What Was Lost, which is an interpretation of the symbolic meaning of the Crane. The discovery of myself as an artist stemmed from trying to find myself after becoming severely ill and no longer able to work in my previous profession. I was in the medical field and art and creativity had been the furthest thing from my mind. So the symbology of the crane refers to recovering ones true nature - what was lost and is now found :)

This piece was created using paper, acrylic paint, and ink

Also available as an 8" x 10" print https://www.etsy.com/listing/107120706/flying-cranes-bird-art-fine-art-giclee
