NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE NOT WORKED WITH SOLDERING METAL! I CANNOT TEACH YOU TO SOLDER. I HAVE SOME TIPS ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE WITH A NOT VERY GOOD VIDEO THAT WE DID. UNFORTUNATELY I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO TROUBLESHOOT PROBLEMS YOU HAVE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO "LEARN" WITH THIS SOLDER. THIS IS FOR EXPERIENCED USERS ONLY. SOLD AS IS.

Also pictured are the various colors of solder we offer, You get the one in the first picture.

This is a commercial product, and I do not know who makes it, I am re-selling this.

We recently had an expert use our solder, we sent it to her in rod form, we can send it to you in both forms, rod form or flattened in our big rolling mill to make it easier to use. As the wire is very hard. This is what she had to say about our solder.

"I tested the solder today. I had no trouble with any of them. I tested them against my easy silver solder and medium silver solder. The flow temperature of all of yours seemed to be about the same as my medium silver solder (1275 F), but maybe a bit less.

I still think that 90% of the time when someone is having trouble soldering they don't have enough flame volume (BTU's) for the thickness/size of the metal that they are working on. It's similar to trying to heat a house with a candle flame. Yes, the flame is hot enough to heat the air, but the size of the flame isn't big enough.

The balance of the troubles fall into flux, dirty metal, fit, etc."

This is what is used to solder silver, brass and copper here in Mexico, especially in Taxco. I can't give you the melting point, but I know it is around 1275F. This is pretty good solder, you can try it and if you like it I have more....it is easy to use. I am rather certain it has no silver content. This is for torch soldering, not a soldering iron.
