Hand-crafted by me, Jeff Addicott in Ashland, Oregon in 2012.

I've settled on "tall basket" to describe the form. (Though I do think the term "pod" still applies...)

The base color is silver-laced beige. I've been experimenting with multiple random wraps in different colors, in this case Gold Brown and Copper Ruby. The resulting mix jibes very nicely with my earthy sensibilities. The lip accent reasserts the base hue.

This particular vessel seems to thrive in all kinds of light. The lighter base helps it to peek out from the shadows. It is translucent enough to transmit back-lighting and of course, like all my wares, it loves good strong, direct illumination.

5 1/4 x 3 1/4" Signed and dated. (Images on your computer monitor may appear larger than the actual vessel.)

Thank you for looking!
