Brass leaf dishes from Virginia Metalcrafters are rare and much sought-after by collectors. Designed by Oskar Hansen, Virgnia Metalcrafters leaves were featured in October 2010 Martha Stewart Living.

Virginia Metalcrafters' hand cast brass, iron, aluminum, bronze, and pewter pieces are considered to be highly collectible, particulary the "leaves" series created by Hansen.

The sugar maple leaf dish measures 5" long and 4 1/2" wide at it's widest point., and the mark on the back is the Virginia Metalcrafters Insignia, Copyright 1950 Sugar Maple and is numbered 3-48.

This brass leaf is in excellent vintage condition.
