Original bottle cap tapestry by Emma Cotter.

"Expansion" is an artwork made from Corona and Miller Light bottle caps. The caps are sewn together with steel wire. Two wooden dowels provide structural reinforcement. It hangs easily, hooking directly on the dowels, or with the aid of wire.

My intention with this artwork, was to first use up some of my excessive hoard of bottle caps, and secondly, to transform these clunky metal bits into a delicate, light and airy tapestry.

This piece is approximately 4' tall by 2' wide.

I have made many bottle cap tapestries, the largest to date being 9' x 17' which is permanently installed at Asellina Ristorante in the Gansevoort Park Hotel, NYC and has been featured in both Time Out NY and Interior Design Magazine.

Packing and shipping costs for bottle cap for this item are included. Method will be confirmed after purchase.

Custom requests always welcome!
