This was my first time making a sweater. The pattern was easy to follow. I added a couple more rows to the trim and used a 5 weight yarn.

I'm not done with quite done with this yet (2 more straps to make!) but wanted to post a review before I forget. Great pattern - easy to adjust for size as needed. This is going to be a gift and the perfect has a pretty decent difference between bust/waist, so I did decreases after the bust rows so that it will be a nice, snug fit at the waist. My yarn has some stretch, but I felt the decreases would help for sizing. Regardless, the pattern was the perfect base for this :) Image is from when I was still finishing up (no trim, no straps) but I don't have a finished look rn!

Sizing runs very small! I’m a medium and had to give it to someone after I completed it because of how small it was. I had to make an XL for it to fit properly. I’m 5’6 and 135lbs. I used the same yarn in the pattern.

Absolutely love this pattern! I made a size large using a 3mm hook and a 10ply cotton from Bendigo Woolen Mills I ran out so didn’t quite make it the whole 60 rows long but still fits perfectly and comfortable and looks amazing with maxi skirts can’t wait to make more of your beautiful patterns 😍
