PLYWOOD wood grain ring

a carpenter's dream

Plywood is a graphic, undulating wood grain design with 3 knots.
this unique ring is a collaboration between my husband & I. He is also an artist- a painter & printmaker, so he has applied his engraving techniques the the wax ring band I gave him.
this ring was carved directly into wax, engraved with hand drawn faux bois texture, and then cast directly into solid 14 karat yellow gold using the lost wax process.

men's band is 7 1/2 mm wide.

*Please note, if you are ordering a ring, please know your exact size as best as possible. Many of my designs cannot be re-sized once they are in metal due to the all over pattern. I recommend going to a local jeweler to get sized in person with a similar width ring before ordering. If you need a different size, I will have to do an exchange. If I have to do more than one size exchange, I will charge a 30$ restock fee.

**In the event of a size exchange needed for a gold ring, I will have to charge $100 restock fee.

The size was perfect. The construction was great over-all. The only reason it's not a five star is that the white gold was yellowish. I'm having it re-plated in Rhodium locally, because my wedding is very soon. I'm very happy with this ring. I tried it on for a day to make sure it fit right and found myself stopping whatever I was doing to look at it. It's beautifully designed and crafted.
