The deer is known for its quiet gentleness in nature. Now all that remains of this deer is its hypsodont dentition, a tooth known in herbivores for its high crown, enabling deer to grind their teeth and wear them down over a lifetime.

The tooth sits atop an aged and gold leafed setting and hangs from vintage emerald green beads salvaged from an old rosary with a gold closure. From closure to the top of the pendant measures 8 1/2" and will wear well with any cut of blouse. The tooth itself is 3/4" tall on a 1 1/4" pendant. Comes gift boxed.

I follow the ethical guidelines of the Minnesota Associated of Rogue Taxidermists (MART), no animals were harmed or killed to create this piece. This tooth was salvaged from a deer that was found deceased. For more information on MART and my work please visit http://roguetaxidermy.com and http://www.simonesmith.com/
