Le Journal Des Brodeuses was delivered to a Sister Marie of the Infant Jesus and her name is written in the top left corner.

The front page lists the contents of the journal and the back pages has subscription information and adverts for embroidery supplies.
Contents for this particular edition include: alphabets for Hankerchiefs, Blowse Collars motifs, decorative borders for round tablecloths but also a section for bebes and enfants - towels, bibs, dresses, crib covers, sheets and pillowcases
great for all manner of design and art work.

The journal operates as 4 page leaflet which opens out with a large central sheet.

CONDITION: see photos below - a few folds, marks and rough edges but on the whole good and legible.

SIZE: when closed 48cm x34cm (19" x 13.5"). large internal sheet 98cm x65cm (38.5" x 25.75")
