Natural, colorful, Ruby Apatite is gorgeous blend of teal, blue, green, olive, dusty rose, purple, and tan. When suspended from silver or gold rings, these 10 mm Ruby Apatite coin-shaped stones make great everyday earrings and will accent your purple, green & teal outfits. I've also seen this stone referred to as "Ruby In Apatite," which is possibly more descriptive. The stones are slightly puffed and each one has its own pattern of teal, green and purple. Please look through all 8 photos at the gorgeous colors. The stones are not shiny, but not matte either, so the soft finish can be casual or more dressed up. The 12 mm silver and gold rings are pounded flat with a brushed finish and I made four pairs of each. The gold rings where a lighter "champagne gold" color, so I made ear wires to match and made similar stainless steel ear wires for the silver ring pairs. The drop from the bend is 1.25 inches and the ear wires will come with plastic earring backs. Please note: Even though I hardened the wire, the gold ear wires are a softer metal than the stainless steel, so please use caution when handling them so they don't get bent out of shape.
