Tru Cut Cheese Cutter

This is a Tru Cut Cheese Cutter, built by The Cincinnati Time Recorder Co. Food Machine Division (1896 to 1945). Originally set out to be a Watch Company, when times were slow in the 1920's other avenues were pursued. The Food Machine Division was one of those avenues. One of the results was this Tru Cut Cheese Cutter.

Serial no. 60664 Model C.

All original parts. Makers plate attached to the front. Porcelain over steel construction. White Enamel cheese plate and safety plate. Black Enamel Legs and body .
Stainless steel blade can be removed for sharpening. Cutting arm moves freely. Unit is well worn with chips in the enamel and rust throughout. Thickness knob on left of unit does not turn. Rubber feet on legs almost gone. Interesting history, a rare find and still a great piece.

Unit weighs 23 pounds and 3 ounces, without packaging. Measures 15" x 13" x 7 1/2".
