Wonderful antique primitive wooden sewing bucket.
Round refitted bentwood firkin barrel
with handle & cloth covered lid.
So old country store!

Antique wooden folk art sewing basket.
Charming item with a lovely patina of age...
Grandma loved this one!

Lid covered with old cotton fabric over cotton stuffing.
Bentwood wrapped barrel with staples...
lid has additional old metal tacks.
Inside is a shelf with dowels for thread
and another side drawer with a lid for notions.

This one is real...
an actual antique primitive not a repro.
Difficult to date this item
but my guess would be 1920's 30's or earlier.
This is a country decor item.

Great antique condition. Distressed with typical wear. A touch of paint here and there. Fabric has some stains and a flaw in the original fabric. The seat was "recovered" but so long ago. You can see the original cover underneath. Item is completely sound. Wonderful antique character!

Measures:
12" high. Handle stands an additional 5" high.
14" wide
41" wide circumference at base
39 1/2" wide circumference at top.
