I will accept returns on items from my Ready to Ship section within 5 days of delivery. The rest of my work is made to order, so I send photos before shipping to ensure accuracy. If I make a mistake, I will make it right, just contact me immediately. Failing to read listing description is not sufficient for a return. Items customized to a special size, color, or design are not returnable because I cannot resell them. For made to order items that I can easily resell, I may accept a return at my discretion. In the event that I allow it, I will credit the cost of the item back, less a 15% restocking fee to cover time lost, less shipping fees, and less all Etsy, Paypal fees. I do not allow exchanges.
It is usually fine if you need to cancel, as long as you tell me before I begin work on your flowers. If you need to cancel, I will refund your deposit or purchase cost in full. I reserve the right to decline any work that presents as incompatible with my design compendium or professional objectives. Additionally, harmonious working relationships are very important to my product quality due to the high level of collaboration I have with my clients. I do my very best to make my customers happy. However, if I feel that I cannot work satisfactorily with a customer, or cannot make the customer happy to the best of my ability, I reserve the right to refund payment and cancel the order at my discretion.
I message clients often so please link your Etsy account to your preferred email. I take pictures before shipping so clients can see how things look. Generally, orders less than $200 under are paid in full before and volume orders over $200 are split, with half paid as a deposit. Payment is required before I will add orders to my schedule. On split balances, final payment is due when flowers are near completion so that I can ship without delay once everything is done. If you are not ready to check out when I near completion of your order, I will pause on completing the order until an agreed upon time when you can pay. Exact shipping is included in the final listing. Signature is required upon delivery.
There is no industry standard for bouquet sizing. Factors to consider in selecting a size include height, weight, dress, venue, theme, budget, etc. Selecting a size is subjective and often comes down to simple preference. When I photograph my bouquets, I favor closeup shots so that I can show detail. But because I shoot closeup, exact size can be tricky to discern from my photos alone. That is why you must read my item descriptions to make an informed purchase. I measure my bouquets in circumference, not diameter because circumference is more reliable. Circumference is measured from the widest part of the body of the bouquet. Height is measured from the top of the bouquet to the bottom of the handle.
I offer mini, small, and regular sized bridesmaids bouquets. Minis are very small - consisting of 3 regular sized flowers and some accents or filler. Minis measure about 15 inches around and under. Minis are often used as toss or jr bridesmaid bouquets. Small maids bouquets consist of a single tier of flowers and range from about 17-19 inches around. They are often used for bridesmaids when cost is the main factor in choosing a size because they are bigger than minis but cost less than regulars. Regulars are usually two tiers of medium to small sized flowers, with a few larger statement flowers included. They average 21 inches around. These are often MoH bouquet, but this size also works an extra small bride's bouquet.
Extra small brides bouquets are about 21 inches around. Extra small is the smallest I recommend for a bride. Usually anything under 20 inches is considered way too small by most brides. Small brides bouquets range from 22-23 inches around. Medium brides bouquets are about 24 inches around. Many brides find mediums to be perfectly suited in size while others find them to be too small. It just depends on individual preference. My standard brides bouquets are about 25-26 inches around. Full sized brides bouquets are 27 inches around and up. When describing my brides bouquets, I avoid terms like large or extra large because I find that people have vastly different interpretations of those descriptors, even when given size measurements.
I ship internationally using USPS Express Mail as much as possible because it is the most reliable option. Some import items are prohibited by country and it is the importer's responsibility to know their individual country's restrictions. I am not responsible if your parcel is seized for import violations. Buyers are responsible for any and all local duties and Customs charges that may be incurred upon delivery. These fees, called "VAT" charges are incurred on top of shipping fees and do not go to me, Etsy, or USPS. Charges vary by country, but they tend to be 20% to 25% of the value of the purchase. I ship a lot of work internationally, so I will not mark parcels as gifts, nor will I reduce the declared value on forms
I use high quality professional pigments and dyes to create the colors in my work. My colors are all custom. I keep a dye recipe index which I update with every new color order so I can create the color again. My colors cannot be copied by other makers using paint. Many sola flower makers cut corners by spray painting their flowers instead of pigment dyeing them. That's one way those shops cut costs. While the color may look ok, paint leaves behind a noxious smell. Many people choose alternative flowers due to sensitivities so spray paint can be a problem for them, especially during hot summer weddings when the paint smell is stronger. My pigments do not leave much of a scent behind on the flowers so they are better for sensitive people
Wholesale sola flowers are inexpensive because the flowers themselves are quickly produced as supplies for use in crafts, decorations, potpourri, etc. They are delicate and often come broken or misshapen because suppliers do not necessarily intended them to last. My goal, however, is to make quality enduring pieces, so I take extra care and time to ensure that my sola flowers are well shaped and sturdy as I prep them; a BIG distinction between mine and other sola shops. My sola flowers are special because of how I transform them from something moderate, into something exceptional. Without adequate prep, sola flowers may not keep well, leaving you with little more than decorations, instead of well made wedding heirlooms to love for years.
Labor and time factors determine my pricing. My craftsmanship is thorough because my goal is to create bridal bouquets that last for generations as family heirlooms. My highest priced bouquets take 2 days to finish from beginning prep, to applying the last pearl, because of the time I give to my keepsakes. Handmade goods are not created equal. Other flowers sold on Etsy are not always created with the same care and the difference shows in photos. Look at individual flowers in listing photos on Etsy. Look at the care given to the overall arrangement. Rushed bouquets look rushed. Even if the design is pretty, if it is not well made, you can tell. My flowers are never hurried. I take my time to create quality that lasts.
