This listing is for Jonathan Plenn and Michelle Cook's wedding registry. If you are not shopping for Michelle and Jon, please check the rest of my shop. I may have more of these available. (:

When you check out, you will be able to specify whether you want to have this shipped to you, or sent directly to the bride and groom. If it is being sent directly, let me know what you'd like the card to say! (:

This listing is for one pair of pasta bowls. Michelle and Jon would like 3 more pairs.

A low-sided bowl, or a tall-sided platter, good for things with zoopy sauces. You can also use this as a small pie pan and bake in it. Ceramic baking dishes give you a great crust.

Glazed in a bright blue-green inside and rich brown tenmoku outside. I mix all my glazes by hand from powdered clays and minerals. All are non-toxic and lead-free.

After throwing each pasta bowl on the potter's wheel, and trimming the bottom, I load them into my kiln for a preliminary bisque firing. Then the glazes are applied by pouring and dipping. Finally, a glaze firing to over 2000 degrees F transforms the powdered minerals and clays of the glazes to smooth colored glass.

These are microwave and dishwasher safe and you can also use it in the oven. As with all ovensafe pottery, avoid extreme changes in temperature. Don't take this straight from the freezer and put it under the broiler, for example, and never run cold water into a dish that has come straight out of the oven.

The bottom of each is signed with my initials "MWF" and the year 2012.
