The light bulbs were bought in a machinery flea-market in Vilnius, Lithuania. They are Soviet 12 V light bulbs, made probably in the 80's or 70's, and very probably would still work if used. Then they were hand-soldered to tiny gold-plated rings.
They show some signs of age -- mostly beautiful brown patina on the shiny metal. I cleaned and waxed the metal for durability.
The lamps measure about 1.5-2 cm in length. See the last photo for scale -- the coin is slightly more than 2 cm across.
You will receive 4 very similar bulbs pictured, safely wrapped. Unique addition to any jewellery project.
