Easily one of the most unique Georgian mourning rings I have ever seen. The back of the ring has a radially fluted design, which was used in the 1700s, but the face of the ring is a later addition (it originally was probably set with a Stuart crystal).

Beautifully woven blonde hair is surrounded by natural, genuine turquoise cabochons. The hair is so well placed in the center it almost looks like a stone when wearing it. This ring is really amazing! The face of the ring was made in the early 1800s.

Very collectable but still very wearable. This ring is amazing.

CONDITION: Ring is in great antique condition. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Disparity in turquoise colors natural and perfectly normal.

DATE/MARKS: Head and band 18th century, top early 19th century. Not marked.

Face is 9 mm diameter (1 inch = 25.4 mm)
Turquoise stones are each approx. 1mm in diameter

RING SIZE: 7 - Can be sized at your local jeweler

WEIGHT: Approx. 2.3 grams.
