I did the turbans in wool, the headbands in silk chiffon for summer, then I fell into yarn, did freeform hats...but nothing of that satisfied me. I consistantly told me I should find a way to combine that together to make something much more inventive. Then I put tons of materials on my table with a color combo I like and I started without knowing where I will go. There is the result. Its a hat, a turban, pirate hat, flapper hat, painter hat, artist hat whatever you want but it go on your head, its good in summer and it will totally change an ordinary outfit and most important, it would make an awesome and unique bridal hat for your alternative wedding.

It is totally handmade. The leather suede belt around the head is adjustable (like a belt with the metal findings), it will fit small to medium head sizes. There is straps of cotton gauze stained with tea crossed over each others and blended with a italian silk chiffon piece. Edges are raw, no seams. There is leather and eyelets crochet binded starfish, crochet starfish in cotton, wool and silk. The colors are pale putty grey, caramel brown and a hint of purple pink. Feel free to wear it upside down, The bow on the back or on the front, or on the side, be creative.

I'm inspired by the nature around me and as you can see stars are a recurrent design into my creation. My house is lost in the country and the sky is very deep and I appreciate each I could admire the magnificence of the sky, the stars and the moon.

The crochet hat has a circumference of 25.5" and it is shown on a model head of 24", it will fit to any size but it will fit better on small medium heads, the model has a small head circumference and it still fit very well. The beanie is fitted on the model's head at 24".

This poet hat is unique and one of a kind and I canno't duplicate it. Once it is gone, it is gone. You are sure to wear a unique piece.

It is better to avoid to emerge the crocheted hat into water because it will lost its original shape. You should use a damp cloth to remove dirt.

Frequently asked questions about mynoush

I recieved many request for custom clothing orders. Unfortunatly, I can't take custom orders. I do not duplicate sold items, or make two items from different sizes. But, I do shorten straps, take a few inches on the sides to make pants or dresses smaller.
This is a question of organisation and space management.

For hats, I regularly add bunch of new hats so I invite you to come back to see if you can find the color you are searching for.

I do not take custom orders, I do clay once a year in summer. Next dreads beads will come in summer 2016.
I have customers all around the world with different sizing systems. This is why I choose to give key measures of the clothing I make. I could give you an approximation of the US size of cloth, because Im from Canada. But the best way to know if a piece will work for you is to take a similar clothing in your wardrobe and compare its measures to the one in my shop. You can send me your measures, it help. Always remember that you need extra inches to be able to move into a jacket, except for stretch tanks.

If you don't have a ribbon ruler, you can take a piece of thread, yarn of ribbon, non stretch, and report the measure on your flat ruler.
I live in Quebec, Canada. I only work with fiber from canadian farms, trying to encourage local farms as much as possible. I live near a large alpaca farm, so all my alpaca fiber is coming from there. I also work with others canadian farms to work with their fleeces, like angora goats for mohair, and sheeps for lincoln locks, cotswold, corriedale and romney. Im a big fan of textured yarn so I mostly spin directly for the locks to preserve their shape and show their natural beauty. I also dye myself all the yarn.
