Gorgeous vintage diamond ring from the Art Deco era. This ring has superb detailing! I've never seen anything quite like it!

In the middle is a 3.4 mm Old European Cut diamond. The diamond is very bright and has a lovely pattern. The centre stone is held in place by two prongs on either side and is framed with miligrain edged white gold. On each side are a further two old, full cut diamond which are also framed with miligrain detailing. Between each diamond are prongs which give an appearance of having a geometric shape. The centre piece, where the diamonds are housed, is held to the frame of the ring by swirls of white gold. The entire top of the ring is an oval shape, tapering where it meets the shank of the ring.

This ring is 18 karat yellow gold which has an 18 karat white gold top.

The diamonds are all full cut, European cut diamonds. European cut diamonds have a small table, open culet, and usually have a higher crown than modern day round brilliant diamonds.

Diamonds: 5 total. Centre is 3.4 mm and is estimated at 0.18 carats. 4 side diamonds, 2 on each side, are 1.4 - 1.7 mm and are estimated at 0.08 carats total. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.26.
Hallmarks: H.W.Ld., and 18ct. This is a maker's mark and hallmarks for 18karat gold. Is is also marked with a 1871 which is probably a model number.
Size: UK - O, US - 7.25 loose, EU - 17.5. Fully sizable by your jeweler.
Ring sits 5.8 mm wide on the finger, 2.4 mm tall off the finger, and 17.6 mm across the finger.
