This vintage French tin box in faded pastel shades used to contain saffron, from a spice store in Marseille in the south of FRance. It is for collectors of old containers, those always getting an urge to open them to find out what's inside. And, when the box is empty, who start imagining ways to fill them up...

This box is from the early 1900s. It is scratched and faded, perfectly aged.
