This ancient Greek symbol is the emblem of the moon goddess Hecate (Diana Lucifera, bearer of light) and her triple aspects: the maiden, the mother and the crone. Hecate was also associated with ghosts and magic, childbirth and the nurturing of young, crossroads and the protector of entrances.

The image was deep etched (sandblasted) on the face of this mahogany obsidian stone and filled with metallic silver paint. The pendant is 30x40mm (1.18 x 1.57 in). The lovely bail is sterling silver (0.925).
